The Cambridge winter 2013 season matches have now all been completed with all of our teams putting on great performances.
The Ladies A team won promotion to Division 2 by finishing as runners-up. After a strong start to the season it was a nail biting end with just a few sets separating the teams finishing second and third.
The Ladies B team finished in last place in Division 6. But with a couple of wins and draws under their belts they’ll be challenging for the top spot next season.
The Mens A team retained their position in Division 2 with a convincing last match of the season win, against promoted Virgin Active. Anything but a win would probably have meant relegation but a full strength team rose to the occasion!
The Mens B team were new to this league and therefore had to start in Division 7. A successful campaign resulting in the runners-up spot means they have now begun their steady climb up the league table.
